I hear that the Off-Broadway transfer of David Cromer's Our Town, which originated as a Hypocrites production at the Chopin last April, will again star Jennifer Grace as Emily. (Not to self-promote too much, but Our Town was TOC's number two pick on 2008's top ten list.)
Grace apparently won't be the only Chicago transfer—and I assume that's not counting Cromer, who'll be reprising his role as the Stage Manager. (More details to come soon.)
This also means Grace won't be showing up at the Goodman in Sean Graney's The Hairy Ape, part of Bob Falls's O'Neill fest. (Again, details as they're cleared.)
Good on her -- there's loads to choose from in that cast, but even if only two wound up transferring, Cromer and Grace would provide the best representation of the original.
