I love the brilliant Slings and Arrows as much as the next theater geek, and am glad to see it promoted anytime. But did the Times's Susan Stewart just get the DVD sets for her birthday, or what? I can't for the life of me figure out the timing of her Friday essay on the show.
I was scratching my head on that one too. I guess it was a slow news day in TV land.

Yeah, I have to agree. I mean, I love Slings and Arrows too, but it's been around for awhile. It's been on the Sundance Channel before, which she mentions. It's been out on dvd for awhile. Very strange. There's no real news hook.

Did you hear the news??? Everybody now (to the tune of...well, as they say, "If I have to tell you..."):
Ding, dong, the 'vich is [politically] dead!
(Which old 'vich? Blagojevich!)
Ding, dong, the wicked 'vich is [politically]dead.
Wake up, sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed
Wake up, the wicked 'vich is [politically] dead...He's gone where the grafters go-
Blago, Blago, Blago, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out!
Why is this artist so gleeful? We in munchkinland put a hex on him after this:
