Another weekend event not to miss: American Theater Company has played late-night Friday host to improv group Pudding-Thank-You for several months now. It's another smart blurring of the division between comedy and theater that Steve Heisler and I talked about in our TOC podcast last week.
This week they're upping the theater/improv ante. Actor and TOC meatsuit jockey Lance Baker (soon to appear in Northlight's Mauritius will be telling stories for PTY's two-act Armando; other guests include Gift Theatre artistic director Michael Patrick Thornton and improv all-star TJ Jagodowski.
Doors open at 10:30 for the 11pm show; admission's eight bucks. Did I mention there's free beer? Full lineup after the jump.

The story was indeed good. And the flow of the program was astounding.
