It's official...

Some of y'all will have heard this already, but I might as well make note of it here. After nearly two and a half years of freelancing for Time Out Chicago, I'm joining the staff as full-time theater writer. I'll be in the office starting at mid-month.

I'm really stoked about the opportunity to help guide the magazine's coverage of our fair city's theater scene, and to steer the conversation about what Chicago theater is and should be.

But don't think of this as any kind of farewell post for Storefront Rebellion. I don't yet know how my new duties will affect what happens here (for instance, I'm likely to be posting on TOC's blog), but I think as the new season gets underway in earnest next month that there'll be enough to go around.
