I've been so busy with other projects lately that I've had no time to write here. But let's hit some highlights, shall we?
- First things first: go see The Castle. My friends Julie and Neal will be disappointed that the Right Brain Project production is the Kafka, not the Howard Barker, but it's fantastic. More on that in next week's TOC.
- The Obies were announced the other night. Winners included Nilaja Sun, who'll bring No Child... to Lookingglass this fall.
- The Actors Workshop's Equus, recently nominated for five Jeff Citations, will be closing for good this Sunday after repeated extensions. Last chance to see one of the best productions I've seen all year.
- Not much in the way of significant openings this holiday weekend: The House and Tense Forms combine to bringmayflowers, and Stockyards Theater Project presents its Play For Keeps project at the Theatre Building. Meanwhile Easy Street Players remount (heh heh) their February production of Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical next week.
